During the year we hold a number of Prestige Evenings


Club meetings are held on Thursday evenings from 7.00pm - 9.00pm at Selby College Academy Building, room O18/O19, Abbots Road Selby from early September until early May.

We believe that photography should be fun, and the aim of the club is to provide a friendly environment, where people can meet and enjoy showing and discussing their own as well as other members' photographs.

To that end we have a full syllabus of events including:-

 Talks and demonstrations by experienced photographers
* Print and slide competitions
* Inter - club meets, including print and slide battles.
* Outings
* Members evenings
* Portrait nights - we provide the lights and models - the rest is up to you!
* Digital Group - providing mutual help and guidance in improving and manipulating your digital photographs.
* And lots, lots more!
 
Selby Camera Club has a fraternal link with Alphoto, a Dutch Camera Club with which we have an annual exchange of work for discussion.
